Job Description
The Medical Assistant will be responsible for daily patient flow for each respective physician for whom they work, using triage skills to gather information and anticipating physician's needs. The role involves escorting patients to exam rooms, recording and maintaining patient's medical data, and performing a variety of physician-requested ancillary and/or surgical patient procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Current MA Certification from one of the following: The American Medical Technology Association (AMT), The National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), The American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), The National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP) Certification, National Healthcareer Association (NHA), or licensure as an intermediate or paramedic level EMT, Oregon LPN, or Oregon RN
- AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider certification
- 1+ years of licensed experience (for relocation assistance)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet all HIPAA requirements
