Radiation Therapist

Radiation Therapist accurately delivers prescribed course of radiation therapy with minimal supervision. Assists physician and fellow caregivers in maintaining optimum care and treatment of radiation therapy patient. Works in conjunction with staff to maintain efficient patient flow.

Requirements

• Accurately delivers the prescribed course of radiation therapy with minimal supervision
• Understands fully the function of the treatment machines/simulators and accessory equipment
• Maintains treatment record for accurate record of patient's daily treatments
• Supports the vision, mission and values of the organization
• Delivers customer service and/or patient care in a manner that promotes goodwill
• May perform additional duties of similar complexity within the organization
• Conducts all activities with the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality
