Job Description
St. James Hospital is seeking a Lead Clinical Laboratory Technologist for a per diem position. This role is a lead position requiring independent judgment and responsibility with minimal supervision, focusing on routine and complex testing. The ideal candidate will work both bench and collaboratively with a team to ensure efficient operations.
Requirements
- Perform routine and complex testing as needed.
- Covers shifts bench work as needed.
- Troubleshoots instrumentation as needed.
- Oversees daily operations of assigned section(s).
- Attends calibrations and troubleshoots instrumentation as needed.
- Reviews instrument maintenance and documentation.
- Participates in regulatory inspections.
