Requirements
- Manage safety programs, special projects, and awareness campaigns in compliance with SLSMC policies, applicable legislation, and all relevant standards and regulations;
- Design, plan, and deliver prevention-focused training programs and information sessions, ensuring effective change management;
- Participate in joint safety committees and provide an advisory support;
- Partner with all levels of management to build and maintain a strong safety culture;
- Develop, review, and update safety procedures in accordance with legislative and regulatory amendments, and ensure their application;
- Analyze and validate documentation related to maintenance activities, safety inspections, and accident investigations, and provide recommendations;
- Participate in workplace inspections and in the investigation of accidents, incidents, and near misses; identify corrective actions and ensure follow-up on recommendations.
