Job Description
The Virtual Patient Observation Attendant observes patients via technology under the direction of a registered nurse, reporting on/off duty and providing virtual continual observation and monitoring.
Requirements
- Report on/off duty to the registered nurses assigned to care for patients
- Ensure a safe environment for patients under the direction of a registered nurse
- Identify self to patients and/or family members or significant others
- Report behavior changes and patient requests to patient's assigned nurses
