Job Description
We are seeking a Scientist Grade 2 Special Haematology to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality pathology services with a primary focus on Flow Cytometry. You will also have the opportunity to broaden your expertise through cross-training in Cellular Therapy, Haemoglobinopathy, and Molecular Haematology. The role involves leading daily operations of the Special Haematology Laboratory, overseeing the performance of internal/external quality control, audits, and continuous improvement activities, and maintaining and reviewing documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Applied Science or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Flow Cytometry
- Experience in Cellular Therapy, Haemoglobinopathy, and Molecular Haematology testing desirable; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
