Medical Scientist - Haematology (Grade 1/2)

We are seeking a Grade 1/2 Medical Scientist to join our collaborative and high-performing team in the Haematology Laboratory at The Royal Melbourne Hospital. The role involves performing accurate and timely Haematology and Blood Bank testing, prioritizing urgent work, and collaborating with senior scientists and clinical teams to ensure service excellence.

Requirements

• Degree in Laboratory Medicine or equivalent (majoring in Haematology)
• Strong interest in Haematology and a commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
• Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities
• Eligible to work in Australia
