Design Manager

Stack Modular is a design+build modular company seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead a team of engineers and architects, ensuring timely and successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or higher in Architecture, Construction, Engineering, Design, or a related field, and proven experience in the design and construction industry.

Requirements

• Lead and manage the design team to ensure timely, accurate delivery of shop drawings
• Review shop drawings to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards
• Foster a culture of unity and set a personal example of work excellence for the team
• Work closely with Project Management, procurement, and production teams to ensure timely project delivery
• Facilitate seamless communication between the design team and other departments
• Collaborate with BIM Managers to uphold BIM standards
• Implement lessons learned from completed projects to apply best practices to future work
• Drive the standardization of design details across both offices
• Embrace and explore AI and other technologies to streamline the design, modelling, and sheet creation processes
