Tax Manager role to join the UK Tax team on a 12-month maternity cover, responsible for tax compliance and reporting, with some involvement in strategic projects. The role will oversee tax compliance for several UK entities, ensuring statutory obligations are met. Experience in both direct and indirect tax compliance is essential.
Requirements
- Qualified CTA or ACA/ACCA accountant with a strong tax background and approximately 5+ years post-qualification experience, either in practice or industry.
- Strong experience in UK tax compliance, particularly corporate tax and VAT compliance.
- Solid understanding of tax reporting processes, regulatory requirements, and statutory deadlines.
- Experience managing tax compliance across multiple entities.
- Ability to communicate complex tax matters clearly to non-tax stakeholders and work effectively with colleagues across different functions.
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to investigate systems and processes, identify potential improvements, and support implementation where needed.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic business environment, adapting to legislative changes and evolving business needs.
- Strong integrity, professionalism, and respect for colleagues and stakeholders, aligned with STADA’s core values.
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems desirable.
