Young Adult Prevention Coordinator

The Young Adult Prevention Coordinator is responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and implementing primary substance use prevention initiatives targeting Maine's young adult population. This includes leading collaborative efforts with state and community partners, overseeing prevention service contracts, and ensuring timely completion of financial and progress reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Public or Community Health, Health Administration, Health Sciences, Health Education, Public Administration, Government, Social Work, or a related field
• Three years of professional experience in the planning, development, coordination, and/or evaluation of health programs or services
• Knowledge of alcohol, tobacco, and other substance use prevention, intervention, and treatment practices
• Prevention certification through the International Certification & Reciprocity Consortium (IC&RC)
• Experience with strategic planning, outcomes assessment, and research or evaluation methodologies
