Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic IOP Counselor to join our team. The counselor will provide individual and group counseling to clients, develop tailored treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support clients in their journey toward sobriety and recovery.
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Current and valid licensure or certification in substance abuse counseling (e.g., CADC, LCDC, LADC, or equivalent) in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with substance use disorder clients, preferably in a residential or outpatient setting.
- Knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities, including Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and 12-step facilitation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish trust and rapport with clients.
- Commitment to upholding confidentiality, ethics, and professional standards.
