Design Engineering - Mechanical Design Engineer (Process Group)

Standard Motor Products is a leading independent manufacturer and distributor of premium automotive replacement parts, seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their Process Development team. The successful candidate will use CAD tools to simulate, test, and document new process tooling and fixtures, create detailed specifications, conduct design reviews, and generate project plans.

Requirements

• Mechanical Engineering or similar Engineering degree from a four-year college or university
• 3 years minimum Engineering experience within an automation-manufacturing environment
• CAD systems (Solidworks preferred)
• GD&T
• tolerance analysis (stack-ups)
• DFMEA's
• analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
• strong PC skills
