Stanford Sierra Youth & Families (SSYAF) is a comprehensive social services organization that empowers youth and families to overcome challenges together. It delivers a continuum of care that includes family advocacy, behavioral and mental health services, juvenile justice intervention, mentoring, foster care, adoption, and pre‑ and post‑adoption support. By connecting foster youth to permanent loving families and providing holistic support to the entire family unit, SSYAF ensures every young person can thrive at home, in school, and in the community. Their distinctiveness lies in a collaborative, equity‑driven model that blends professional treatment with compassionate care, guided by values of compassion, equity, excellence, honor, integrity, and partnership.
