Job Description
Stantec is seeking part-time on-call Archaeological Field Technicians for projects in central and eastern US locations (New Cumberland, PA; Hampton, VA; Charlottesville, VA; Annapolis, MD). The role involves daily surveying, archaeological recordation, excavation, and artifact description, ensuring a commitment to safety, quality, and a creative approach to fieldwork. Requirements
- Survey transects up to fifteen miles in length
- Recordation and delineation of archaeological sites
- Completion of archaeological site forms
- Excavation of shovel test pits, test units, trenches, or other excavation
