Health Planner

Stantec’s Buildings team is on a mission to become the world’s leading integrated design practice. We are seeking a Health Planner to collaborate with the design team and Owner to resolve and implement distinguished design concepts that make lives better.

Requirements

• Participate in making key decisions regarding healthcare planning and design of hospital and clinics of significant complexity and size
• Lead project teams and effectively participate in Clinical User Group meetings and client presentations
• Conceptualize a building’s medical planning design from both a functional and aesthetic perspective
• Develop medical planning design through sketches, physical models, electronic models, diagrams, massing studies, and other visual formats
• Utilize BIM technologies in development of three-dimensional models of buildings and their components
• Evaluate and select building systems and materials
• Implement sustainable design principles into the design and environment
• Review shop drawings and submittals, respond to RFIs, prepare site observation reports and other contract administration tasks
