Job Description
Stantec is seeking a mining waste engineer to support the growth of the Mining Residues and Waste Department in Montreal.
Requirements
- Conception and management of infrastructure
- Design and plan mine waste facilities (TSF), sterile waste facilities (WRSF) and water management systems
- Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections and dam inspections
- Contribute to the development of closure and restoration plans in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Supervise production and revision of technical documentation
- Provide support to field teams and work closely with related disciplines
