Requirements
- Traffic signal system design and re-timing
- Operational analysis
- Roadway capacity analysis
- Traffic safety studies
- Traffic signal, signing, and pavement marking and design
- Street lighting / illumination design
- Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS)
- Advanced Traffic Management Systems (ATMS)
- Prepare construction documents and cost estimates
- Perform complex engineering design tasks
- Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate technical aspects of assigned projects
- Train developing staff on design and operational analysis software packages
