Job Description
The Underwriter – General Aviation supports the aviation underwriting team by providing technical and administrative assistance throughout the lifecycle of general aviation accounts. The successful candidate will help assess risk, manage documentation, facilitate communication with brokers and clients, and ensure exceptional service delivery within the underwriting process.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field
- Prior internship or experience in property & casualty insurance, aviation insurance, or underwriting support
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with industry-specific software
