Job Description
Join our team at Star View Adolescent Center / South Bay High School to make a positive change in the lives of adolescents. As a Special Education Teacher - Mild to Moderate, you will deliver a comprehensive academic program tailored to each student's needs, strengths, and grade level. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 1 year experience teaching children or youth full-time in an academic setting or working full-time with children or youth with severe emotional/behavioral challenges
- Teaching Authorization/Credential: State of California authorization to teach assigned student population and subject areas at assigned secondary grade level
- Enrollment in credential program necessary to maintain authorization and progress toward a full special education credential
