Job Description
The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles is seeking a Community Service Officer (State Law Enforcement Dispatcher) to work in the Jacksonville Regional Communications Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for responding to emergency and non-emergency calls, dispatching troopers and other state law enforcement officers, and monitoring and responding to radio and data communications traffic.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma
- 18 years of age or older
- Willingness to work rotating days and shifts
- Ability to pass a Level 2 background check, CJIS, and SLERS security clearance
- Completion of a four-month training program
