DISTRIBUTED COMPUTER SYSTEMS ANALYST - 37000592

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection is seeking a Distributed Computer Systems Analyst to administer and maintain user accounts within the Department's Active Directory environment. The position is responsible for creating, modifying, disabling, restoring, and removing user accounts, updating account attributes, and managing security groups and distribution lists. The analyst will also ensure accuracy and consistency of account data across systems, manage Florida Digital Service user accounts, and provide support for Exchange Online and file access services.

Requirements

• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Power Shell, VB, bat files
• Knowledge of client – server architecture
• Knowledge of LDAP
• Knowledge of best practices in IT systems governance
• Knowledge or principles of IT service management (ITSM)
• Skill in creating accounts and assigning permissions
• Skill in troubleshooting and resolving mailbox and calendar issues
• Skill in logical and deductive reasoning
• Skill in communicating complex IT problems and solutions in simple terms
• Ability to process information logically and solve problems
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot network systems
