GOVERNMENT OPERATIONS CONSULTANT II - 40000176

The Government Operations Consultant II will assist with media relations, research, electronic/news/media, outreach materials, and administrative tasks for the FloridaCommerce Division of Community Development. The role will involve updating webpage content, creating content for social media pages, and providing technical assistance to program offices. The position requires strong communication and critical thinking skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and staff of all levels. The Government Operations Consultant II will report to the Government Operations Consultant III - SES, Communications and External Affairs Manager and serve as a Communications Coordinator for the Division of Community Development.

Requirements

• Knowledge of project management and business analyst concepts
• Technical knowledge of common business software applications such as Microsoft Office
• Strong critical thinking skills
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with a wide range of audiences
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and staff of all levels
