Job Description
The Florida Department of Health is seeking a Health Support Specialist to work in the Division of WIC/Nutrition at the Joyce Ely WIC Office in Ruskin, FL. The successful candidate will be responsible for inputting accurate client data, collecting and assessing personal data, and providing WIC benefits to clients. The position requires a high level of customer service, data entry, and communication skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced clinic or office environment, servicing adults and children.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience in data entry
- 1 year of customer service experience working in a high volume, fast-paced clinic or office environment, servicing adults and children
- Willing to learn how to perform height and weight measurements on infants, children and adults
- Willing to learn how to perform hematological measurements (finger prick)
- Ability to lift and transfer 30lbs
