Job Description
The Registered Nurse Supervisor position at the Florida Department of Children and Families is a highly responsible and professional role that requires a collaborative team player with independent judgment and exceptional attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in nursing and two years of professional nursing experience, or a master's degree in nursing, and will be responsible for supervising and directing employees, evaluating resident care, and providing safety and security in all aspects of resident care.
Requirements
- Licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in accordance with Florida Statute 464 or eligible to practice nursing in accordance with Florida Administrative Code 210-8.27
- Two years of professional nursing experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in nursing can substitute for one year of the required experience
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in nursing can substitute for the required experience
