Job Description
The Illinois Department of Transportation is seeking to hire an Assistant Chief Counsel position in the Office of Chief Counsel. The incumbent provides technical advice and legal policy determinations on legal matters relating to transportation, including Ethics, Personnel, Labor Relations, FOIA, Administrative Rules and subpoena compliance.
Requirements
- Knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four years of college
- Graduation from an accredited law school
- Prior experience equivalent to three years of progressively responsible administrative experience in the general practice of law
- License to practice law in the state of Illinois
