The IDVA-CENTRAL OFFICE CHIEF FISCAL OFFICER-SPSA position directs all fiscal operations of the agency, develops the annual budget, and serves as spokesperson for fiscal matters. The position requires a four-year college degree in budgeting, finance, and public administration, as well as four years of experience in administrative experience in budgeting administration and fiscal responsibilities.
Requirements
- Knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to the completion of four (4) years of college, with coursework in budgeting, finance, and public administration.
- Four (4) years of experience of administrative experience in budgeting administration and fiscal responsibilities in a highly responsible position.
- Licensure as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Master’s degree in business or public administration
- At least four (4) years of experience exercising judgement and discretion in developing, implementing, and interpreting department policies and procedures.
- At least four (4) years of experience analyzing administrative programs and adopting effective courses of action.
- Ability to clearly communicate ideas, methods, and principles, both verbally and in writing.
- Experience working with enterprise resource planning systems such as SAP, or similar systems, and developing reports using database reporting such as HANA and/or PowerBI.
