The Survey Research Data Coordinator position is accountable for researching, collecting, analyzing, and maintaining data files for the Surveys Unit. This role provides computer computations and uses electronic surveying equipment to electronically record, resolve, and transmit field survey data.
Requirements
- Current registration as a licensed Professional Land Surveyor in Illinois
- Four years of experience in the practice of land surveying
- Knowledge of Microstation, Geopak, V8i Select Series 4, or OpenRoads Designer CONNECT Edition, Trimble RealWorks, or Trimble Business Center
- Knowledge of the use of GPS, Robotic total stations, Digital Levels, Terrestrial LIDAR Scanners and point cloud data registration and processing
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage data and communicate effectively with survey crew members
