Job Description
The Illinois Department of Employment Security (IDES) is seeking an organized, customer-focused, and results-oriented professional to serve as the Workforce Analysis & Dissemination Manager. This position provides a great opportunity for someone who has extensive knowledge in economic statistics and labor market information and is dedicated to harnessing that information to improve work outcomes for Illinois residents and businesses.
Requirements
- Managing a team of labor market analysts/career specialists/publication professionals
- Overseeing the publication of labor market and career information
- Serving as the IDES Economic Information & Analysis (EI&A) Division’s lead on the federal Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA) engagements
- Performing statistical analysis of labor, employment, and/or wage data using statistical and visualization tools
- Preparing and presenting written and oral reports containing complex integration of economics, demographics and labor market information
