Job Description
The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) is seeking a Budget Analyst 1 to monitor the budget and related fiscal operations for the Public Health and Safety Division in Helena. The position will design, develop, and maintain budget systems, policies, and methods for programs to follow, as well as oversee and coordinate the preparation and submission of grant applications and contract management.
Requirements
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of accounting and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Ability to understand state and federal rules and regulations related to fiscal and budgetary management
- Skill and understanding of budgets
