Job Description
The Montana Department of Corrections is seeking a Clinical Therapist to work within a secure prison. The Clinical Therapist will play a pivotal role in addressing the complex mental health and behavioral needs of an incarcerated population, supporting institutional safety, and promoting pro-social behavior among residents. The role involves delivering evidence-based and trauma-informed therapeutic services, working as part of a multidisciplinary team, and preparing individuals for eventual reentry.
Requirements
- Master's degree in social work, psychology or counseling
- Licensed or able to be licensed as a LCSW or LCPC by the State of Montana
- Able to balance clinical care with security protocols and maintain strong professional boundaries
