Registered Nurse Lead

The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services has a career opportunity for a Registered Nurse Lead within the Montana State Hospital. The Registered Nurse Lead provides assistance and support to clients in maintaining a therapeutic environment, monitors and evaluates nursing services, and supervises assigned staff and patient services.

Requirements

• Ability to analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solutions to solve problems.
• Knowledge of nursing, medications, rehabilitation, treatment planning and techniques for psychiatric illnesses.
• Ability to use critical thinking and sound judgement in emergent hospital setting situations.
• Skilled in personnel management and supervision
• RN Associate Degree
• Currently Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Montana
• Two years of experience providing supervision in a health care setting preferred.
