Director of Event-Driven Economic Development

The Oklahoma Department of Commerce seeks a Director of Event-Driven Economic Development to lead strategic efforts to identify, engage, and recruit businesses connected to major events, and coordinate across state agencies to leverage each event as a catalyst for investment, tourism, and long-term growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in business, marketing, or a related field
• At least 4 years of experience in economic development, business, marketing, sales, or real estate
• CEcD or attendance at the Economic Development Institute (EDI) is desirable
• Experience with MS Dynamics 365, or a combination of education and experience
