Meat Clerk

The Meat Clerk is responsible for delivering excellent customer service, assisting with meat selections, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. They also support daily department operations, including cutting, trimming, packaging, and labeling meat products.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma preferred but not required
• Valid Food Handler / Health Card
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• Friendly, helpful attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction and service
• Ability to work well within the team and follow direction with a good attitude
• Excellent communication skills
• Basic math and reading skills
• Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
• Ability to operate meat processing equipment safely and efficiently
