The Service Deli Clerk is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, preparing and packaging deli and bakery items, and maintaining food safety and sanitation standards. Responsibilities include stocking products, preparing displays, and ensuring all areas are clean and organized.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma is preferred but not required
- A valid Food Handler / Health Card (for fresh departments)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Friendly, helpful attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction and service at all time
- Ability to work well within the team and follow direction with a good attitude
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) with the ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with customers and other teammates
- Basic math and reading skills for handling recipes, pricing, labels, equipment, and inventory
- Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
- Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently
- Available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
