Material Handler

Material Handlers work on the plant floor, responsible for tasks such as packaging, shipment, and receipt of materials in a safe and efficient manner, without close supervision. They must work in a team environment and coordinate movements with others.

Requirements

• Loading and unloading materials using overhead crane and forklift
• Ensuring finished product is packaged and shipped according to customer specifications
• Measuring product dimensions using a tape measure and micrometer
• Processing shipping and receiving paperwork and entering data into computer systems
• Becoming familiar with production process to aid in problem solving
