Electrified Powertrain Controls Engineer – Expert

Role Overview

The Electrified Powertrain Controls Engineer will serve as a technical leader within the PRC Electrified Propulsion Controls CoE, driving the development strategy, architecture, and delivery of advanced electrified powertrain systems.

What You Will Do

Define control strategies and architecture at system/vehicle level, lead development and integration across multiple programs, drive complex algorithm design and optimization, and ensure robustness through full V-cycle.

Requirements

• Bachelors' degree in relevant engineering field
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in controls/software engineering

• Proven leadership in delivering production systems
• Strong influence across organizations
• Deep expertise in electrified powertrain systems and architectures
• Advanced control theory and system optimization
• Expert-level model-based development and embedded software
• End-to-end V-cycle ownership
• Extensive experience with validation, calibration, and diagnostics
• Strong system integration and vehicle-level performance understanding
