In this role, you will directly support STEMCELL employees, and provide proactive maintenance/improvements of STEMCELL’s cloud-hosted systems. In this role you will possess a good understanding of software and hardware systems, have good experience with modern technology (cloud, automation), and have a passion for delivering consistent and excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Work with the IS Department and Business to evaluate user requests, clarify objectives and functional requirements for new or modified computer programs;
- Offer creative initiatives, identify opportunities for improvement, and collaborate on delivering the best IS solutions while assisting the IS team with issues requiring technical expertise;
- Monitor ongoing performance of systems and develop updates or modifications according to business needs;
- Plan and perform regular scheduled maintenance, including updating documentation;
- Respond to emergencies and system failures including after-hours problems; lead response and resolution of escalated issues;
- Degree or diploma in a technology-related discipline, or a mix of industry certifications and/or experience;
- Takes a collaborative approach to problem-solving and has the ability to think critically alongside the capability to handle standard technical issues;
