Electrical Designer

As an Electrical Engineer II, you will design, develop, document, and implement electrical and electromechanical solutions for various components and sub-assemblies. You will apply electrical engineering principles to control systems and electromechanical interfaces while ensuring compliance with specifications and industry standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in engineering
• Knowledge of at least one of the following industrial standards: UL, CSA, NEMA, IEC, NFPA, etc.
• Autonomy and innovation, while being an exceptional team player in product development
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Practical knowledge of electrical systems, electrical troubleshooting, and test design
• Knowledge of electromechanical control devices such as motors, solenoids, and heating elements
• Understanding of embedded material design and control technologies
• Knowledge of industrial programmable logic controllers (PLC/PLC) is desirable
• Understanding of various user interface technologies
• Knowledge of machine communication protocols and data acquisition
• French and intermediate English proficiency
