As an Electrical Engineer II, you will design, develop, document, and implement electrical and electromechanical solutions for various components and sub-assemblies. You will apply electrical engineering principles to control systems and electromechanical interfaces while ensuring compliance with specifications and industry standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in engineering
- Knowledge of at least one of the following industrial standards: UL, CSA, NEMA, IEC, NFPA, etc.
- Autonomy and innovation, while being an exceptional team player in product development
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Practical knowledge of electrical systems, electrical troubleshooting, and test design
- Knowledge of electromechanical control devices such as motors, solenoids, and heating elements
- Understanding of embedded material design and control technologies
- Knowledge of industrial programmable logic controllers (PLC/PLC) is desirable
- Understanding of various user interface technologies
- Knowledge of machine communication protocols and data acquisition
- French and intermediate English proficiency
