Job Description
The Software Implementation Engineer is responsible for implementing, updating, maintaining, and supporting STERIS ORI software products within hospital enterprise network environments. They will work with customers to set up remote access, write and modify software, and provide advanced application support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Technology, or equivalent
- 4+ years in client-facing technical support or administration of complex IT solutions
- Experience with HIPAA, medical environment, Imaging and Clinical workflows, and FDA regulatory compliance
- Practical knowledge of Networking, TCP/IP, certificate/key management, remote access, Linux/Unix Operating systems
- RedHat system administration certificate or CompTIA Linux+
- Experience in interpreting, analyzing, and managing system logs
- Proficient in writing and debugging bash scripts
- Familiarity with Ansible, Docker architecture, and containerization principles
