Postdoctoral Research Associate - Developmental Neurobiology - Muscle-to-Brain Communication & Aging

We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to join the group of Dr. Fabio Demontis to decipher the conserved mechanisms of muscle aging and proteostasis, and how muscle-derived signals (myokines) affect proteostasis and the progression of age-related diseases in the central nervous system.

Requirements

• Ph.D.
• expertise in molecular, biochemical, and cell biological techniques
• training in Drosophila neurobiology and tauopathy is preferred but not required
• ability to work independently as well as in collaborative research efforts
