
Job description
As an Equipment Engineer (CMP) at STMicroelectronics, you will be responsible for equipment ownership, performance, maintenance, and troubleshooting. You will work with a team to ensure equipment performance meets process requirements and support yield, quality, and reliability investigations. You will also analyze data and KPIs to identify bottlenecks and chronic losses, and lead or participate in Lean/Six sigma/SMED activities for cycle time, cost, energy, and throughput improvements.
Your main responsibilities will include acting as equipment owner for a defined set of CMP tools, monitoring OEE and uptime, and defining and driving actions to improve them. You will also analyze equipment alarms and chronic issues, implement robust corrective and preventive actions, and support technicians in complex troubleshooting.
This role requires a strong team player with good interpersonal, communication, and written skills. You should be able to adapt in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure.
