MEMS Sensors Product Engineer Intern

Role Overview

The MEMS Sensors Product Engineer Intern position is a central role in the development of new products within the MEMS Sensors Sub-Group. The intern will be responsible for executing characterization plans, creating and executing qualification plans, and bench validation of key product requirements.

What You Will Do

The intern will execute characterization plans, create and execute qualification plans, and bench validation of key product requirements. They will also interface with manufacturing site to ramp the product into high volume manufacturing and interface with assembly for product BOMs and building samples.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The intern will be required to interface with other engineers to problem solve any product errata, customer returns or test procedure debug. They will also face unique challenges including both ASIC and MEMs design or quality issues, requiring a strong knowledge in data analysis, setting up design of experiments and the use of the 8D process to help root cause and correct failures.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Materials Science and Engineering
• Prior Product experience with Sensor/MEMS knowledge
• Strong analytical and interpersonal communication skills
• Use of tools for technical analysis and productivity tools, such as JMP, MS Excel, MS Project
