Chief Engineer

The Chief Engineer oversees the maintenance operations of the hotel, ensuring all systems are functioning efficiently, and supervises maintenance staff and contractors. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with safety standards and timely completion of projects to maintain guest satisfaction and hotel operations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in hotel engineering or maintenance management
• Strong knowledge of systems including refrigeration, heating, plumbing, water treatment, and energy controls
• Proven ability to manage maintenance staff and contractors, including hiring, training, and evaluation
• Experience with budgeting, inventory management, and purchasing for maintenance operations
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle emergency situations effectively
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail in project planning and execution
