The Chief Engineer is responsible for the overall maintenance, safety, and physical operation of the hotel, ensuring it is safe, well-maintained, and operates efficiently to support an exceptional guest experience.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hotel or facilities maintenance experience; supervisory experience preferred
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Ability to perform hands-on repairs and troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of safety regulations, life safety systems, and preventive maintenance practices
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple maintenance needs in a fast-paced environment
