Job Description
Clinical Laboratory Technologists perform various biochemical, immunoassay, microscopic and bacteriological tests to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease. Responsibilities include preparing microscopic slides, verifying specimen acceptability, preparing and calibrating laboratory instrumentation, and reporting laboratory test results.
Requirements
- Valid NYSED Clinical Laboratory Technologist license or permit
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science or related science
- Clinical judgment and problem-solving skills
