Job Description
The emergency department Advance Practice Provider (APP) provides advanced nursing and patient care in the acute care setting based on educational preparation and/or certification in the practitioner role to a specific patient population.
Requirements
- Master’s prepared with national certification eligibility
- Must be a graduate of an accredited PA/APRN program
- Registered Nurse - KSBN Must have valid APRN licensure
- Be certified as a nurse practitioner by a recognized national certifying body that has established standards for nurse practitioners
- Physician Assistant (PA) - KSBHA Required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support - PALS Required within 6 months of hire
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support - ACLS Required within 6 months of hire
- Advanced Trauma Life Support - ATLS Required within 1 year of hire
