Accounts Payable Specialist

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing the full-cycle accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, expense reports, and payments.

Requirements

• 1+ years of accounts payable or general accounting experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and AP best practices
• Experience with accounting or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). COINS software experience is highly preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Experience in a high-volume or multi-entity AP environment
• Familiarity with electronic invoicing and payment platforms
• Prior experience supporting audits
• Knowledge of sales/use tax or 1099 reporting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
