The Supervisor, Machine Maintenance is responsible for leading a team of machine maintenance technicians to ensure the reliability, safety, and optimal performance of manufacturing equipment.
Requirements
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities
- Monitor equipment performance and respond to breakdowns to minimize downtime
- Maintain and improve preventive maintenance programs for production equipment
- Manage maintenance-related budgets, including spare parts, tools, and external services
- Create and maintain production equipment spare parts inventory
- Supervise, coach, and develop machine maintenance technicians
- Assign team schedules, daily work, manage performance, and provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support
- Ensure team compliance and work aligns with company policy and procedures, industry standards and regulations.
- Promote a safe work environment and enforce lockout/tagout and other safety requirements
- Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to support manufacturing operations
- Participate in root cause analysis, failure investigations, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
- Support equipment installation, upgrades, and new equipment commissioning
- Provide maintenance input for continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure accurate documentation of maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment history
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
- Support audits and inspections related to safety, quality, and maintenance systems
