Job Description
Middle School Art or Music Teacher needed for SY 26/27 at Digital Academy of Texas (DATX). Must be highly qualified, state certified educator responsible for delivering specific course content in an online environment. Teachers provide instruction, support, and guidance, manage the learning process, and focus on studentsā individual needs.
Requirements
- Active state teaching license
- Ability to clear required background check
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience working with proposed age group (desirable)
- Experience supporting adults and children in the use of technology (desirable)
- Experience teaching in an online (virtual) and/or in a brick-and-mortar environment (desirable)
- Experience with online learning platforms (desirable)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint (desirable)
- Ability to rapidly learn and adapt to new technologies and teaching platforms (desirable)
Benefits
- Salary: $49K plus the eligibility of a performance bonus
