Job Description
We are seeking a Special Education Teacher to work remotely as a state-certified teacher, providing instruction and support to students with special needs in an online environment. The teacher must have a Special Education endorsement and be able to work independently with students and parents to advance each student's learning and comply with individualized education programs.
Requirements
- State teaching license
- Special Education endorsement
- Ability to work independently and maintain a professional home office
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to rapidly learn and adapt to new technologies and teaching platforms
- Experience working with proposed age group (desired)
- Experience supporting adults and children in the use of technology (desired)
- Experience teaching online (virtual) and/or in a brick-and-mortar environment (desired)
- Experience with online learning platform (desired)
